For all you Marty McFly fans out there, start saving your pennies now. Seems you’ll be getting the chance to be styling like your hero as The DeLorean Motor Company of Texas has announced that they’ll be building brand new, electric versions of the DMC-12, the car made famous in Back To The Future.
Yes, you heard right … electric. No banana peels or random articles of garbage to fuel this baby. This new DeLorean will be made with all original parts, starting with the new electric engine, and will be priced at $90,000!
$90K for the possibility of time travel?! Hell yes! Oh, and what’s more – the car can travel well pass the 88 mph needed to make time travel possible. This baby is expected to hit 125 mph and go 70 miles on a single charge. Unfortunately, it isn’t capable of flying yet, so you will need roads. Guess the folks down at the motor company didn’t test drive their baby to October 21, 2015 to pick that piece of technology up.
