Daily Herald (Arlington Heights, IL) July 25, 2007 Buffalo Grove – A laptop computer and LCD TV worth about $3,200 were stolen July 17 from a bedroom on the 0-100 block of Fabish Drive, police said. A sliding patio door was unlocked.
– Brent Charles Bewick, 17, 2624 Brookside Lane, Schaumburg, and Philip Armand Leroux, 20, 20587 Swansway, Barrington, were charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor July 18.
Police said a witness saw them in a car near Thompson and Stanton, and one of them was holding a golf club while hanging out of a window. They later were found at a home on the 1400 block of Margate Drive. see here 2000 jeep grand cherokee
Their Mundelein court date is Aug. 24.
– Thieves stole two life vests between 10 a.m. and noon July 19 out of an open garage on the 800 block of Indian Spring, police said. Value was estimated at $350.
– Someone stole a ring about 2:20 p.m. July 19 out of a customer’s purse at Tech Five Nails when the victim left the purse on a chair while washing her hands in a washroom, police said. Value was estimated at $500.
– Thieves stole a purse with car key, credit card, driver’s license, health club ID card, and cash between 5:20 and 6:35 p.m. July 19 out of a locked locker at Highland Park Health and Fitness, 1501 Busch Parkway, police said. Total value was estimated at $166.
Wheeling – Vandals threw a hockey puck that smashed a driver’s-side window between 10:30 p.m. July 18 and 10:40 a.m. July 19 on a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee in a restaurant lot at 550 S. Milwaukee Ave., police said. Damage was estimated at $100. 2000jeepgrandcherokeenow.net 2000 jeep grand cherokee
– Vandals put a long scratch from the rear driver’s-side quarter panel to the front bumper between 6:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. July 18 on a 2006 Nissan Sentra on the 100 block of West Wayne Place, police said. Damage was estimated at $500.
– A pane of glass on a patio door on the 1500 block of Sandpebble Drive was shattered by a BB pellet July 16 between 10:45 and 11 p.m.

– An in-dash radio/CD player and about 100 CDs were stolen July 17 after the thief smashed a window out of a 1996 Dodge Neon in a parking lot at 393 S. Milwaukee Ave., police said.
The stereo was valued at $250; a value estimate for the CDs was not available.
– Two cell phone charger cords and a radio remote control were stolen from a 1998 BMW on the 0-100 block of Buckboard Drive overnight July 17-18.
Value was estimated at $90.
