Top Gun, la película que consagró a Tom Cruise como una estrella de Hollywood en 1986, tendría una secuela.
La película de Paramount Pictures contará con la producción de Jerry Bruckheimer Films y Skydance Productions y el encargado de redactar el libreto sería Peter Craig, también guionista de “The Town”.
La más grande sorpresa es que Tom Cruise volvería a interpretar al teniente Pete Mitchell, también conocido como “Maverick”.
Aunque Cruise no ha confirmado su participación, mostró un claro interés de participar en ella, al igual que Tony Scot, el director de la primera película.
