One of LaMega.com’s guilty pleasures has got to be the risqué videos created by the Latino comedy troupe known as “ROOM 28”… We can’t emphasize enough how much fun it was to work with these talented group of people during this interview, they are true masters of their craft and they are impressive at improvisation.
LaMega.com’s Luis Moreno along with ROOM 28 manager Lauren Rivera, came up with the initial concept and outline… while the ROOM 28 CAST filled in the rest!..
The end result is 10 minutes of something that just took on a life of it’s own !!

The Freshest Comedy Troupe to Hit NYC Debuts Their First Live Performance
On April 10th, 2008, La Pregunta Arts Café (1528 Amsterdam Avenue New York, NY) will open its doors to Room 28 for a night of comedy and laughter. Room 28, a name derived from a Dominican urban legend, pertains to the group of seven cast members who film sketch comedy that is featured on various Internet websites such as LaMega.com, Nochelatina.com, SalsaMerengue.com, MiGente.com, and Dailymotion.com. This first show will be hosted throughout by various members of the group and will include both live and filmed sketch performances. There will also be a stand-up comedic performance by Michelle Buteau, who was recently seen on 'Last Comic Standing', Comedy Central's 'Premium Blend' and Paramount Comedy Network's 'The World Stands Up' show. Open to both the general public and specially invited guests from all aspects of the entertainment industry, this show will surely create quite a buzz for everyone involved. Show begins at 8pm and tickets are $10 at the door. Due to space limitations, all guests are asked to RSVP to RSVP@Room28Comedy.com with their name and number of guests, no later than April 8th.
